Located in the heart of West Cork, Manning's is a famous food landmark on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Manning's was established in 1946 by Mr and Mrs Manning who reared Jersey cows on nearby pastures. Initially supplying local hotels and restaurants with milk, cream and butter, locals soon started asking for butter for themselves and Manning's was born. The business continued to develop over the years and was taken over by Val Manning in the 1970's just as the West Cork food scene was gaining an international reputation for its produce. Manning's became synonymous with quality and attracted discerning customers from near and far who came flocking for the range of local and international offerings. Val has now taken a well-deserved back seat and his niece, Laura, has taken the helm. Manning's still values its relationships with local suppliers and sources its produce as locally as possible, an ethos that is undeniably apparent through its menus and shelves.

An area steeped in rich history and tradition, where green patchwork pastures meet the wild Atlantic coast - this is the spiritual home of Irish food. We offer our guests the chance to experience the food and culture of west Cork like no other journey. We will introduce you to the artisans who have made the region synonymous with fine foods. From cheese-makers to farmers of local herds to skilled cutlers, west Cork has an abundance of characters that will make your experience with us simply unforgettable. All of our tours are created depending on the requirements and interests of our guests. Drop us a line and we'll put together a tour just for you.

Our wood-fired pizza oven is the latest addition to the Manning’s offering. We serve gourmet pizzas on Friday nights (5.30 - 9.00) and Saturdays (12.00 - 9.00) and Sundays (12.00 - 4.30). We often have special offers on so check out our Facebook page for updates. All of our pizzas are available for take-away and are made fresh to order.

Manning’s Cafe started life as when customers starting asking us to put together a tasting board for them to enjoy whilst they took in the atmosphere of the shop. This tradition continues today, serving our now famous Manning’s boards throughout the day along with sandwiches, soups and light lunches.
