El Commandante

El Comandante wines are the product of an Irish owned winery in Mendoza, Argentina which makes wine exclusively for the Irish market. Originally set up by Michael Lynch, retired Irish Army Commandant (hence the name), the business is now run by his son Tom. There are two wines produced at the moment, a Malbec, the signature red grape of Argentina, and an unoaked Chardonnay.
